If you haven't been to a Biblical Families retreat before, here's a bit of what you can expect:  time for everyone to share with the group their 'story': who they are, why they are here, and where God has been leading them.  We have Christ-followers from all backgrounds join us at retreats, so you don't need to worry about your background or journey - we've been shown a lot of grace by the Father, so we have a lot of grace for others.   There will also be time a lot of group discussion - especially around our culture and Biblical patriarchal living.   There will also be discussion of plural marriage - both the Biblical case for it, and what it means to live it practically in our modern world.   Typically less than half of families at retreats are already plural, and some others - though not all - are considering.   You certainly do not have to be considering plural marriage to attend a retreat - but an agreement that God's order as revealed in the Word is patriarchal, and that plural marriage is acceptable in that order, is our common ground, after the Gospel.  We will also have a session of separate men's and women's groups - important discussions often happen in these.  Often we will have a speaker as well for at least one session.  There will also be some worship (sometimes live music, sometimes recorded), time for prayer, and of course a lot of time for fellowship and relationship building.   We are pretty informal, and our goal is to have everyone relaxed and given a chance to participate - many people who attend have limited options for fellowship elsewhere, and this is an important purpose for our retreats.   If you have any questions at all, just ask: retreats@biblicalfamilies.org, or you can ask others in our forum.

Dallas, TX - November 14-16th, 2025

We are going back to Texas!  Our first time to Dallas since 2016, we are already expecting a good crowd for this hotel retreat, with folks coming from every part of the country.  We have a good location,  Jacob Foulk will be joining us again, and we already have some new folks committed.  This should be our largest event until next summer.  If you'd like to receive the details, or just have a question, write us at retreats@biblicalfamilies.org ​​​​​​.

Florida Fellowship Winter Retreat - Orlando, FL   February 6-8th, 2026  

Back to Florida for a relaxed family fellowship retreat, that will include meeting time, but also a good bit of outdoor enjoyment - space is limited, let us know if you'd like to be included.  retreats@biblicalfamilies.org

Summer Family Retreat and Family Camp near Gatlinburg, TN   July 30-August 2, 2026

Next summer we are returning to our beautiful mountain location, where we had such a great time of fellowship and sharing in 2025. This year should have no conflict with anyone's schooling and it's back to Thursday-Sunday again.  We expect to max out this location, the meeting space and dining hall will be the limiting factor, so be aware.  Registration should open in January.  This is will be our big event of 2026, and it's always a great time for adults and children alike - with scheduled activities for the kids.  You can write us anytime to get on the list for more info: retreats@biblicalfamilies.org
