I would beg to differ with you, especially in the case of nonconsent. What I have witnessed is emotional distance. I wasn't saying there was an advantage. I wasn't commenting on the physical relationship at all. I was merely expressing how the term "throuple" is not the same as polygyny (even if it is one man with two women) because marriage is between one man and one woman. Polygyny just means one man can be married to multiple women. The women have no covenantal relationship to each other.
