I’m not asking in regards to being a divine judge over someone. Only God can truly know the heart.Judging someone from a 100% strict interpretation of a verse is legalism in my book.
Strictly speaking, King David and Bathsheba were required to be stoned. But Yah decided to just take the child that resulted from the adultery.
I’m not advocating for not holding someone’s feet to the fire, but this super self-righteous condemnation is an obvious spiritual problem.
We need to show a bit more grace, Yah is their final judge.
And remember that man judges from the outside while Yah judges the heart.
Trump is presently our leader and we are instructed to pray for our leaders, it doesn’t say anything about condemning them and tearing them down.
Do you have any personal problem declaring a person’s behaviors (in comparison to scripture) as reaching a point beyond which you can excuse them? Is it relative to the situation, or does no behavior warrant exclusion or condemnation?
