So this is different for us, but we want to do our winter retreat up north, at a location east of Columbus, OH.

We expect this to be our biggest winter retreat, from the people we've already talked with, and the fact that we haven't been to the NorthEast in a while.
If there's a snow storm that weekend our backup plan will be 2 weeks later (Feb 14th-16th).

This is just a little over 2 months away, so if you want the details when they are ready to go out in 2 weeks or so, write retreats@biblicalfamilies.org now or DM @julieb or I your email.

Just an update that we finally have our Winter retreat location nailed down, and we have moved to a great location 30 min east of Columbus, OH. Columbus airport does have some discount airlines, if you are considering flying.

The details email has gone out, so write retreats@biblicalfamilies.org soon if you are interested in attending - our hotel discount is only guaranteed until January 7th.

Thanks Zec, and if you are considering, it's definitely not too late to join us in Ohio - we have a nice place to meet in, and in case you have heard yet, Jacob Foulk, author of Exposing the Spirit of Ashtoreth will be joining us and sharing. PM me or @julieb now if you'd like info or have any questions. Less than 2 weeks! (So far no big storms on tap for that weekend.)

I am waiting to hear all the great stories about this retreat. How many went?
There were somewhere just less than 30 adults. Almost everyone was new, including several practicing families we’d never met before.

It was an excellent retreat. The winter ones are always a little intimate and fellowship focused.

Jacob roughy some excellent and fresh messages. One of his wives has a powerful voice and we had several sweet moments of worship.

It was well worth the trip.

It is awesome you were able to make it. Thank you for the update.

It was a lovely chilly retreat! I really enjoyed getting to meet quite a few first-time retreat families. Hopefully, we will be seeing a few of them on the Forum so all can meet them. Thank you to the Foulk family for hosting Saturday dinner! It was a great and fun time.

Ach, ‘twas downright balmy for winter in Ohio. 😉
But I must say that the amount of the retreat that I got to experience, the hearts were exceedingly warm.

Someone, I don’t remember where, asked about the mix of TO and non.
Other than the fact that there were some tzitzit hanging around, you can’t tell the difference between the attendees. Well, food choices also when it comes time to eat.
I’m assuming that there wasn’t a dust up before I got there, it has always been brotherly in the past.

Greetings all from the Opperman family. This was our first time and it was such an incredible blessing to me and my wife! Having been thorough a season of persecution from those who would call themselves believers in God as well as family it was refreshing to have fellowship with so many that are likewise standing for truth. Being new to this group we weren't sure what to expect but we were blown away by the spirit of the Lord that was evident. Thanks Nathan for making this a special time for our family. Can't wait for the next one! I encourage anyone who is being awakened/called to this truth to come and be refreshed.

Welcome Opperman's! It was great to meet you and your wife. I hope you'll do a quick introduction at some point for everyone here. Look forward to seeing you at another retreat.
